Canva has a large pool of at least five thousand elements. The more you explore Canva for its designing features, the more amazing elements, templates and designs you will get. For Canva beginners, finding designs, elements and icons can sometimes be tricky but with some practice and use of right keywords you will find fabulous stuff you can use confidently in your designs.
It is a great idea to experiment with simple keywords and find segments according to your needs. Here are some simple keywords that will familiarize you how extensively Canva can be used in the field of designs. Let’s look at these simple Canva keywords with their sample snapshot.
Aesthetics
The first in my list today is “Aesthetics”. Just type this keywords and you will find the following designs. Don’t forget to click on the suggested searches in the element section when you type a keyword in the search box.
The more keywords you will find under this search term will be “Polaroid frames, dried flowers, washi tape, aesthetic paper etc. With each search query, you will also find the options to get graphics, photos, frames, videos and even music related to the same keyword.
Abstract lines
By typing in ” Abstract lines” in the Canva elements section, you will find a huge collection of graphics, photos and videos related to lines which you can use in your posts to make backgrounds, add up complementary elements or animations.Here is a short glimpse of the results that “abstract lines” give.
Once again don’t forget to use the suggested elements under the search box such as, ” straight lines”, “brush pattern”, “curvy lines”. The narrower and deeper you go to find related elements, the more relevant elements you will find for your designs.
Abstract Shapes
Use “abstract shapes”, and the Canva elements suggested keywords under it to find a great collection of designs, videos and music. Here are some screenshots of abstract shapes in Canva.
Blob
“Blob”, as the name suggests will show you the drops or lumps of colours. Like other keywords, it will also show graphics, photos, music and videos. Besides, you will also find blob shaped frames to insert photos and create other effects. Here are some examples of “blob” keyword result.
Duo Color Avatar
Duo colour avatar will show you graphic characters in black and white as well as pictures of two persons or things in pairs. Once again there is a wide variety of videos and photos under this keyword. You can edit the graphics by changing the colours as shown in the pictures below.
Glitter
The keyword “glitter” in Canva elementsis a large storehouse of brilliant glittery graphic designs, animations and videos. You can narrow the keyword down and type,” pink glitter”, “blue glitter”, “golden glitter” to find related designs.
Also look for ” glitter balloons”, birthday balloons,” etc to find glittery or shiny 3d graphics and videos. You will find these Canva elements very handy in creating party flyers and posters.You can also find glitter backgrounds for your designs by just typing in “glitter background” in the element box. Remember that for some elements you can change their colours to suit your needs, for some others you cannot.
